Umm NO

Sound plausible, but what about our medical advancement. We live up to about 60 years of age, which is twice as long as cavemen. No thank you.

lets go live in a forest

#1) ask yourself, why do we need to be so advanced in medicine? could it be that our air is so polluted and it causes cancer and breathing problems?

#2) ok fine, cavemen do live less, they live approximately 35 years. that gives 25 extra years to live, right? NOT EXACTLY, I like math, so let’s do the math on how many years the average person just spends working and going to school.

WORKING
the average person works 250 days a year and 9 hours a day. that equals 2250 hours a year. Let’s say the average person works from ages 18-65. thats 47 years working with 2250 hours per year. that equates to working 105750 hours. 105750 hours = over 12 years! That’s 12 years “continuously” working.

SCHOOL
grade school = 8 years
high school = 4 years
university or college = 4 years
TOTAL: 16 years
well sure your not "in school" 16 years. but you must also consider time consuming activities that you must do outside school, such as projects, homework, tests, and studying that you must do on your own time. also, nowadays even university degrees are still not enough, so upcoming generations will need to get their masters before they can get decent jobs. so for the sake of argument, lets say we spend half of 16, which is 8 years of our lives “continuously” focusing on school.

That gives us a GRAND TOTAL of 20 years of our life (continuously speaking, counting ever hour) that we spend on just work and school.

So when you say we have 60 years to live, I see it as only 40 years because I don’t see being a robot (working) and stressing in school as “living”.

That’s only 5 more years of “life” than a caveman, and I only factored in work and school.

That’s my hypothetical answer to a great hypothetical question.
And hell yeah, Betty is hot. Thumbs up to Robert, interesting blog.
