The movie "The Corporation" opened my eyes and I can see how they are similar to a greedy living organism. They grow, use extreme amount of resources without concern for the environment, and care about one thing; money.

I believe that governments are to blame for our current global climate crisis. if they better manage the country, putting priority to those that require more action (such as the environment and NOT the oil companies) then we can possibly help improve our crisis. i know that the reason why they promote oil over greener technology is because oil companies are the biggest and profitable companies in the world, where the governments get cuts from them by promoting them. our technologies are advancing; we were able to go from the stone age to the post-industrial age. why cant we ulitmately advance in greening our technologies, increasing the costs of those technologies that are non-sustainable and decreasing the costs of those renewable technologies so that it is more affordable to everyone, thus helping improve our environment ultimately.

the reason I blame ourselves is because we have a choice as to what we use
