The last hours of ancient sunlight

I read this book two summers ago. I really enjoyed reading this book because it was both scientific AND interesting, like a novel would be. There are some stuff which he raised awareness of, such as current issues going on in the world, or past issues where the consequences are being felt today. i would say it's both for the scientist and non-scientist.
